The Cookie Book Tag – A tag that’s too sweet to resist

Hello there, friends!

I’m here today with a new tag – and this one is inspired by one of my favorite snacks ever, cookies! 😀

I came across this from the lovely Marie at Drizzle and Hurricane Books, where you can check out her tag here and her blog here (I absolutely adore her blog, please check her out!). Once I saw this, I knew I had to try it!

Without further ado, let’s begin with the tag:

Chocolate Chip | A Classic Book That You Love or Really Enjoyed

A classic that I actually really enjoyed reading is ‘Orlando’ by Virginia Woolf. It was so out of my comfort zone and quirky, and when I read up on the symbolism and meaning behind it, I loved it even more! She’s on my list of favorites when it comes to classic authors.

I would definitely have to say ‘Vicious’ by V. E Schwab. I’ve heard so many great things about her books, particularly this series, and sometimes I feel like I’m the only person in the book blogging world that hasn’t read it, so I have to remedy that soon.

Shortbread | An Author You Can’t Get Enough Of

Sarah J. Maas, obviously! I love both her series and I can’t wait for her new book, ‘House of Earth and Blood’ to come out! Her writing just sucks me in and takes me away, and it’s so inspiring and moving!

Samoas | An Emotional Rollercoaster

‘The Wicked King’, definitely! The last few chapters were a whirlwind of emotions, so much happened. But the ending… I was REELING. I didn’t know what to do with myself. November can’t come fast enough!

Oreos | A Book Whose Cover Was Better Than The Story

I’m going to have to say ‘The Jewel’ by Amy Ewing. The cover is more memorable than the story. At first, I was excited about it as it reminded me a bit of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’… but all I can remember is that things didn’t end well. Maybe I should re-read it again?

Tagalongs / Peanut Butter Patties | A Book That Wasn’t What You Expected

‘The Empress of a Thousand Skies’… in the best way! I loved everything about it. I’m not really into sci-fi books, but I’m glad I picked this one up.

Snickerdoodles | A Book You May Never Stop Rereading/ Loving

This has to be Jinx by Meg Cabot. I have read this book about 5/6 times and I loved it more and more each time. It’s about a young girl born with bad luck, who struggles to come to terms with her witchcraft and herself.

That’s it from me! Hope you enjoyed this tag :3 if anyone else wants to try this, please feel free to! You can also purchase any of these books using my book depo affiliate link! 😊

What do you think of these books? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time,
